PRCA
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is steeped in a colorful history that dates back to 1936, is the oldest rodeo-sanctioning body in the world and also the largest with approximately 9,000 members. The PRCA sanctions about 700 rodeos each year that pay out $35 milling in prize money. PRCA contestants are the world’s best rodeo athletes traveling year round to compete. The top 15 money winners in each event are qualified to compete for the World championship at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo held in December each year in Las Vegas.
